Provider Inquiry Summary Walkthrough

Overview
Provider Inquiry Summary displays the current status / results of the Provider Inquiry. The following is a step by step walkthrough of retrieving a provider inquiry summary.

Submitting a Basic Provider Inquiry Summary

  1. Click on Provider Inquiry Summary in the HEALTHeNET menu
  2. Provider Inquiry
  3. Select the Payer from the drop-down
  4. Payer Select
  5. Select the Requesting Provider
  6. Note: This is the provider that the original inquiry was submitted for Provider Select
  7. Enter the Inquiry Date Range
  8. Note: The default is for the past month Date Range
  9. Click on the SUBMIT button
  10. Submit Note: All inquiries fitting the submitted criteria will be returned in a list, if there is more than one result.

Submitting a Provider Inquiry Summary with an Inquiry ID Number

  1. Click on Provider Inquiry Summary in the HEALTHeNET menu
  2. Provider Inquiry
  3. Select the Payer from the drop-down
  4. Payer Select
  5. Select the Requesting Provider
  6. Note: This is the provider that the original inquiry was submitted for Provider Select
  7. Enter the Inquiry Date Range
  8. Note: The default is for the past month Date Range
  9. Enter the Inquiry ID Number

  11. Click on the SUBMIT button

  1. Click on Provider Inquiry Summary in the HEALTHeNET menu

  3. Select the Payer from the drop-down

  5. Select the Requesting Provider
  6. Note: This is the provider that the original inquiry was submitted for Provider Select
  7. Enter the Inquiry Date Range
  8. Note: The default is for the past month Date Range
  9. Enter the Member Number
  10. Inquiry Filter
  11. Click on the SUBMIT button
  12. Submit Note: All inquiries fitting the submitted criteria will be returned in a list, if there is more than one result.
